Très heureux d’avoir reçu Olivier Cadic, Sénateur représentant les Français établis hors de France et vice-président de la commission des Affaires étrangères, de la Défense et des Forces armées du Sénat.
Dans un contexte géopolitique marqué par l’exacerbation des tensions internationales et le rapport de force, les campagnes de manipulation de l’information sont devenues un instrument de déstabilisation.
Spécialiste des questions de cybersécurité et de cyberdéfense, Olivier est intervenu sur le thème de la guerre hybride menée contre les démocraties.

The Higher Education sector is a critical soft power tool as well as a significant source of net contribution to our economies.

Le Cercle d’outre-Manche was delighted to welcome Sir John Holmes as our guest of honour and speaker last evening.
Sir John had an outstanding career in the British diplomatic service. He served as a diplomatic adviser to 2 British Prime Ministers and he also served as the British Ambassador to France.
His views and insights on the state of international affairs were profound and thought provoking and we thank him deeply as we learnt a lot during our dinner.
“When you know better, you do better”. This is one of the raisons d’être of the Cercle d’outre-Manche.
Dîner - débat avec SE Mme Hélène Duchêne
Le Cercle d’outre-Manche a été heureux et honoré de recevoir SE Mme Hélène Duchêne, Ambassadrice de France au Royaume-Uni.
Ce dîner a permis de faire un point d’actualité très complet notamment sur la relation bilatérale franco-britannique et sur l’organisation des prochaines élections européennes.
Bien que nous soyons établis dans un pays non-membre de l’Union européenne, il est utile de souligner que les citoyens français vivant au Royaume-Uni sont appelés à voter aux élections européennes le dimanche 9 juin prochain.
Nos remerciements les plus chaleureux à Madame l’Ambassadrice pour la qualité de sa présentation et de ses interventions lors de nos échanges.

Dîner-débat franco-britannique
The Cercle d’outre-Manche, the French Foreign Trade Advisors in the UK and the French Chamber of Great Britain were delighted to host a Franco-British dinner last evening with 6 Members of the National Assembly led by Alexandre Holroyd and 4 British Members of Parliament led by Stephen Crabb.
The dinner provided a great opportunity to discuss the state of economic affairs in the UK as well as the state of Franco-British relations.
Since the last Franco-British Summit last March, we have witnessed a “réchauffement” between our countries and this is a very positive sign. Ultimately this will benefit us all.

Nous avons été très heureux de recevoir à cette occasion Pierre Chabrol, ministre conseiller pour les affaires économiques, chef du service économique régional de Londres, en fonction depuis le 1er septembre.
